General
Description
These Manual Reset Valves meet the need for
reliable shut down of process valves in aggressive enironments. All
hardware is stainless steel and all aluminum components are hard
anodized and Nituff* coated. These valves also meet shock and
vibration per ISA specification S71.03Ca, and salt resistance testing
per ASTM B117.
The manual reset housing is sealed with closed cell neoprene sponge
rubber and is equipped with a sintered bronze breather to prevent
condensation. A last chance filter is installed in the auxiliary air
port of the pilot valve.
Construction
Electrically Tripped are designed to shift
posisiont when they receive a continuous or momentary (at least 0.3
sec.) electrical signal. nce the valve has been tripped, it must be
manually reset with the solenoid de-energized. If auxiliary air supply
to the pilot valve is lost, the main valve will shift position. When the
air supply bleeds down to 25 psi, the latching pin retracts to allow the
shift to take place.
No Voltage Release require the solenoid pilot valve to be
energized before the handle is lifted into the latched position. The
valve will remain in theis position as long as there is voltage to the
coil.
Upon voltage loss, the valve shifts posiion. If pilot valve auxiliary
air is lost, the main valve will trip the same as the electrically
tripped valve.
