General
Description
These 3 way and 4 way pad mounted pilot valves are designed to mount
directly to most leading actuator configurations. The valves are
provided with thermoplastic bodies and stainless steel hardware to
create a corrosion resistant package ideal for your diverse
requirements. A momentary/maintained manual operator is standard. Valves
can be converted from AC to DC, or vice versa, by simply changing the
coil.
The 3 way valve is a normally closed poppet design to insure tight
shut-off. These valves are designed for use with spring return
actuators.
The 4 way valve is a 2 position design based upon the successful ASCO
Slide Valve. This valve series requires no minimum differential pressure
and only 20 psi mainline pressure to operate. The action of the slide on
the flow plate wipes away dirt to avoid sticking flollowing periods of
inactivity. The 4 way valve can be used as either a 4 way 2 position
design or a 3 way nrmally closed design merely by rotating a gasket
located in the sub-base prior to assembly to the actuator. The 3-way
operation routes the exhaust pressure to the spring side of the actuator
to prevent corrosion problems within the actuator.
