Bodies - ½" to 2" N.P.T. 8290 Series General Description These auxiliary-piloted, 2 way angle pody pison valves featurea an extra stable shaft with oversized bearings for extended service life. They have been tested to over one million cycles. A preloaded stem seal and FPM shaft "wiper"" allow these valves to be used in aggressive and corrosive services. The watertight actuator head is double-walled for superior strength. Fluid passes under the valve seat to eliminate damaging water hammer. A reversed flow version for rapid cycling steam applications is also available. The valves can handle back pressure to their full rating. Fluids handled: Air, water, inert gas, oil, light slurries and steam. Fluid Temperature: For all fulids: 15°F to 366°F Ambient Temperature Ranges: 15°F to 150°F. Differential Pressures: All Fluids: 0 to 240 psi; Steam: 0 to 150 psi.
